When building or renovating, we devote a considerable amount of time to the details of each environment, where colors, coatings and furniture must be in proper tuning. Although discreet at first glance, the finishing on the ceiling is as important as those on the walls and the floor in decoration, because its color, for example, can modify our perception of space amplitude and illumination.
The ceiling can be considered the ‘joker’ of decoration when used to complement or even enhance the style chosen for the environment. Adopted centuries ago to decorate interiors, the classic elements redeem the palatial elegance with a bit of art deco and represent today the main influence in the decoration of the ceilings.
One of the most famous elements is the crown, the ‘baseboard in reverse’. Traditionally made of plaster, moldings require specialization in the handling and application of the material, which is not always practical and clean. Santa Luzia offers a sustainable alternative by providing four ecological crowns with classic designs, ready to install, following the design already offered in baseboards, wall trims and door casings.
Made from recycled Styrofoam®, the profiles are 100% recyclable, resistant to pests such as termites and do not change when exposed to moisture. The parts come out of the factory painted with white acrylic solvent-based paint. If there is a need for repainting, they are ready to receive acrylic, polyurethane and synthetic solvent based paint. Caution: Do not sand the parts to the point of removing the factory paint, it may compromise the repaint finish.
